PERPETUAL PROFESSION FOR SR JOSPHINE CHIMWE, OLS

“Then I shall always sing to your name, day after day fulfilling my vows”, Ps 61:8.
On Sunday the 14th of May 2023, at St Richard’s parish church in Murambinda, the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows and the catholic church in Zimbabwe celebrated the Solemn profession of perpetual vows of Sr Josphine Chimwe. After years of preparation, self-introspection, prayer and intense human, spiritual and charismatic formation, Sr Josphine decided to take her love for service to God, God’s people in the church and the community to another level. She professed her vows in the presence of Sr Carla Bertani, the Superior General of the OLS Institute and her vows were received by Bishop Paul Horan, the Bishop of Mutare. The celebrations continued after mass and ended the following day with the mass of thanksgiving.
