Baptism of Blessed Elisabetta
The following day Elisabetta was baptized in the church of St. Biagio; the parish priest was Fr. Domenico Fronzoni, but the baptism was administered by Fr. Luigi Rossi, godfather and friend of the family, parish priest of Colbordolo, a village two kilometers from Forcuini, where Elisabetta’s mother had lived in her youth.
The name chosen, Maria Elisabetta, was in honor of her maternal grandmother and paternal aunt who had already passed away.
