The Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows are a Religious family founded in 1839 by Blessed Elisabetta Renzi in Coriano (Rimini), Italy. Today, the Congregation can be found in six countries: Italy, the United States of America, Mexico, Brazil, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

They live the charism and spirituality that was given to them by Elisabetta Renzi through service to the Church in various apostolic ministries:

• Education of children, youth and families
• Pastoral work on diocesan and parish levels
• Social assistance for children and youth from disadvantaged situations
• Social assistance for the elderly
• Promotion of women
